MICROGEL is a compact water cooled chiller controlled by a microprocessor and featuring a special control system (patented by FRIGEL), that allows to keep a perfectly accurate and constant temperature set-point (with a maximum deviation of±1℃). Two kinds of pumps are used : one to deliver a very high flow rate to the user and the other one to maintain a constant flow through the evaporator in order to protect it and ensure a long endurance. Each MICROGEL features an automatic Free-cooling device, that determines very relevant energy savings every time theambient temperatures can be used for cooling. MICROGEL is available in two versions : "MONO" "DUO" The "MONO" model is normally used for injection and blow moulding with "cold" moulds (PE, PP, PVC, PS, PET...). The temperature range is -5 to +50¡ãC (20 to 120¡ãF). Besides that, it adds to the normal features the possibility of pre-heating the mould (or the process) and to maintain the desired temperature by using the cooling water from the ECODRYGEL. This machine is a "combination" of a MICROGEL and a THERMOGEL together. It is most suitable for those who, with the same machine (injection or blow molding or whatever), produce different type of materials, which in some cases require a "cold" mould and in some others a "hot" mould. The temperature range is -5 to +90 ℃℃ .The heating capacity is 6, 12, 24 or 48 kW.The "DUO" model collect in just one unit the potentiality of two MICROGEL COMBINED. Infact it gives the opportunity to keep perfectly constant the temperature (-5℃to 90℃ ), the flow rate and pressure of each zone independently. This model, extremely versatile, is able to adjust automatically the cooling capacity according to the thermal load of each zone of the same mould or even of two different moulds, besides working with just one zone.
